Mobile check-in, known as mobile self-service check-in service, is an diversified extension of tradition way of departure check-in. Based on TravelSky’s electronic ticket system and the technology of the Internet and mobile communication, this service enables passengers with electronic tickets to complete the check-in procedure, choose their seat and obtain bar-coded boarding passes through their mobile phones before the flight takes off. In accordance with the needs of aviation companies, TravelSky has developed mobile self-service check-in products based on WAP, which was put into operation in China in 2009.
